It is believed Arsenal want to announce the extensions at the same time in the hope it will further boost morale as they seek to win a first title since 2004.

Arsenal moved to within two points of surprise Premier League leaders Leicester City with victory over Manchester City at Emirates Stadium.
“They couldn’t beat big teams before”, said Henry during the Monday Night Football broadcast on Sky Sports, before remarking on the club’s recent 2-1 triumph over City – a result that created a four-point cushion between themselves and Manuel Pellegrini’s side. I believe that we have shown our talents of spirit, organisation and brilliance all together and that gave us three points.
“They have players who can tuck in like De Bruyne and Silva who you do not want to get on the ball in the last 30 yards and overall we did that tactically well”.
“We play against them quite regularly so we know what to expect”.
The 32-year-old clocked up 284 appearances for Arsenal, scoring five times, during his seven-year spell at the north London outfit.
“I think we did better than Arsenal, we had more possession, more chances, but we didn’t win the game”. “We go game by game and concentrate on having a game plan and trying to implement it”.
“We played better than Arsenal but for the second goal we made a mistake and that was decisive”.
“That is what we are doing really well at the minute but that means a lot of concentration and work in training”.
On Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola revealing he will leave his position in the summer: “Personally I don’t like the fact that the managers come out so early for what they will do, because it’s not necessarily good for their own team, nor for the speculation about the managers who are going through a little bit of a hard patch”. We can’t count on him around the Christmas period.
Two first half goals from Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud proved enough to defeat the travelling Manchurians who clawed one back late in the game through Yaya Toure.
