Chris Harris, Sabine Schmitz Joining Revamped “Top Gear”
Top Gear executive producer Lisa Clark has departed the revamped motoring series after five months. “I’d like to wish production all the very best with the show”.

Sabine did previously appear on “Top Gear” in 2004 though, alongside Jeremy at Germany’s Nurburgring, while Chris Harris is known for his writing in various motoring magazines, and he has also fronted a YouTube series about cars.
Evans said of her appointment: “Lisa is as good as it gets when it comes to making big, important television shows”.
A spokesperson added that the show is unaffected by the loss of Clark.
The BBC said a new producer will be announced “in due course”.
Speaking about joining the show in July, Clark, who set up a production company called Pett in 2001 with Reeves and Mortimer, said: ‘This is an incredibly exciting and challenging opportunity, which I couldn’t resist.
Despite Lisa’s work being hailed as awesome by Chris Evans, it has been reported that she will be “moving on to new projects”. “She’s amusing, sassy, super experienced and has always absolutely LOVED cars”.
Speaking to the Press Association at the media trade show MIPCOM in Cannes earlier this year, he hinted that there may not be Top Gear co-hosts with him all the time onscreen.
The first episode of the new 16-part season will air on May 8. David Coulthard, the former Formula One star, has also been appointed to the new-look presenter panel, according to The Sun.

‘Top Gear’s executive producer has quit the show. Clarkson, Hammond, and May then signed a deal with Amazon Prime for a new show that will also premiere in 2016.
