Student Louisa Johnson, 17, from Essex, has been crowned the victor of The X Factor 2015.
Louisa won the show last night and so she automatically signs to Simon Cowell’s Syco record label with an album to be released next year.
The guys certainly had the support of their mentor Cheryl though, and even Simon had to admit: “I have a feeling you could actually win this show!” Thank YOU!! U are seriously the most loyal supporters EVER. Che Chesterman was voted off the competition after receiving the lowest number of votes during the live show held on Saturday, Dec. 12, Metro reports.
From the moment Louisa Johnson earned herself an easy four yeses from the judges in her first audition with her rendition of Michael Jackson’s Who’s Loving You, she set the bar for this year’s competition.
“We’re just family men trying to change our lives”, they said, as they were joined onstage by their children.
Louisa has also told Newsbeat she won’t be reading any headlines about herself anytime soon. “Thanks for having me, I loved it. I wanted to burst out laughing, I did at the end”.
Louisa truly deserved every bit of praise she got, and helped make this season of X Factor an unforgettable one.
Also performing in the live final was One Direction, Adele, and a farewell appearance from One Direction, who are due to go on a hiatus. “That would be a dream come true, ‘ she said”.
The show wrapped up with Louisa singing her new single, Forever Young and the classic finalists-run-on-stage ending, but this time it was all but one.
