Santa Claus spreads Christmas cheer at mall
Kailey Caizza, 7, guessed that Santa could go 400 miles per hour. He said I could be Santa for 100 or 200 years. Claus said big requests from the little ladies this season were princesses and gear from Disney’s 2013 “Frozen” film, as well as dolls from from the Monster High franchise. And, as you’ve probably heard on the radio at least 15 times in the past month, Santa Claus is comin’ to town. They can also track Santa online.

The Oregon Air National Guard will be on high alert Christmas Eve as Airmen work closely with the United States Air Force and the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) to monitor the skies and track the annual flight of Santa Claus.
It’s a tradition that began in 1955 after a Colorado Springs-based Sears Roebuck and Co. newspaper advertisement.
NORAD confirmed that it will track Santa on NoradSanta.org, where families can follow his journey to different countries around the world, play Christmas games, listen to songs, watch videos and learn facts about Santa, NORAD and holiday traditions from around the world.
Anna Hays is 9 and said she’s been using the Santa Tracker for seven or eight years.

NORAD explains that fighter pilots “often escort Santa’s sleigh through North American airspace”, while the navy and coast guard secure the seas beneath him.
