Tim Peake Assists Astronauts To Conduct Space Walk
The multi-Michelin-starred United Kingdom celebrity chef has created gourmet space food for Tim Peake, the first-ever British astronaut on the International Space Station, including a bacon sandwich, Christmas pudding, and cup of tea that functions in zero-gravity.

According to the European Space Agency, he has a number of tasks to perform, including unpacking cargo and taking part in an experiment looking at the effects of microgravity on the bone marrow. On Dec. 22, Japan joined in reaffirming its support for the space station through at least 2024.
Asked if he was still in love with science, Major Peake said: “Of course I am still in love with science”.
Once up in space he quickly took to Twitter, to tell his 221,000 followers: “View of our handsome planet Earth from space is simply stunning – and “space” is so intimidatingly black…I’m captivated by it”.
NASA is reportedly set to conduct a space walk outside the International Space Station on either Monday, December 21, or Tuesday, December 22.
‘It is just the blackest black and you realise just how small the Earth is in that blackness. “We are very busy up here but I promise to start sharing more of our life in space soon”. “Once you’re a pilot, if you get the chance to be an astronaut, that’s the icing on the cake”.
“It is certainly not unpleasant – it is a kind of metallic smell but not chemically or bad in any way”. She added: “We hope that Major Peake’s work on the Space Station will serve as an inspiration to a new generation of scientists and engineers”.
He will used the treadmill for the first time over the weekend, and over the coming months will train so that he can run April’s London Marathon in space.
He was absolutely blown away to get a tweet from Her Majesty the Queen.

The lines might be out the door, but Star Wars: The Force Awakens is playing just about everywhere on planet Earth this week. 43 year old Peake is a former army major, and the first astronaut representing the British government to wear a Union Jack flag on his arm.
