My father reminded me every Christmas that when I was placed in his lap I went berserk, kicking and punching until I was able to run back to my parents.

Kailey Caizza, 7, guessed that Santa could go 400 miles per hour. Last year, the NORAD Tracks Santa website reached 21.8 million visits for December from people in 234 different countries and territories.
NORAD, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, is based in Colorado Springs.
According to NORAD, the Santa Tracker started in 1955 after Santa’s phone number was accidentally listed in a catalog as the number to NORAD’s predecessor, the Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD).
Santa Claus will be powering up his sleigh and delivering presents to children all around the world on Christmas Eve – and you can track him live as he makes his way to you.
Anna Hays is 9 and said she’s been using the Santa Tracker for seven or eight years. “That was something that just connected me with him”, Rice recalled. “We make good use of NVIDIA hardware; it takes what we have to another dimension”, Fili said.
“Well, if you can miraculously fit down a chimney with that big belly of yours, why can’t you manage to get home in time for breakfast Christmas morning?” He said I could be Santa for 100 or 200 years.

“We get a lot of calls from Europe, Australia and New Zealand”, said NORAD’s Stacey Knott, who has organized the Santa tracking for three years. I have a big dog, and I needed to know why she never barked at Santa. “Before we lose it all, I think it’s important we hold onto it as long as we can”. But do you know everything about him?
In a selfless move filled with the true spirit of the holidays, they instead ask Santa to bring something special to the ones they love the most. Details about Santa’s location are anxiously sought by everyone looking to prepare the milk and cookies just in time for Santa’s arrival.
Mrs. Claus: Santa cares about the environment and knows that too many amusement parks would take up too much room. Since that first year, NORAD staff and friends have volunteered their time every Christmas to respond to phone calls from children around the world asking about Santa’s whereabouts at Christmastime. There are also volunteers from Google, Verizon and Air Canada, with the programme funded through corporate sponsorship.

When they’re not tracking Santa, the military and civilian personnel at NORAD are responsible for aerospace warning, aerospace control, and maritime warning in the defense of North America.
