Along with the growth in population the crowd is also getting younger in the state with the state’s median age population being 34.9 years.

The nation’s population increased by 0.79 percent to 321.4 million, slightly ahead of the pace – 0.78 percent – of the prior year. The state’s unemployment rate now stands at an adjusted 3.5 percent, the lowest since early 2001.
