PM’s comparison of Jaitley an attack on Advani: Jethmalani

Darbhanga MP Kirti Azad was on Wednesday suspended from BJP, bringing the differences within the party out in the open. “Today BJP stands exposed, it is completely steeped in corruption”.
The parliamentarian defied his party as he made corruption allegations linked to the DDCA or Delhi and District Cricket Association that Mr Jaitley headed for 13 years till 2013. “The BJP is drowned in corruption”, the AAP leader tweeted.
Aam Aadmi Party outside Parliament and Congress from within have been demanding Arun Jaitley’s resignation over the expose. “So, since the Prime Minister has drawn that analogy, it would be an appropriate thing for Jaitley to follow his erstwhile client, resign from the government, clear his name and then if he is cleared, come back to the government”, Tewari told ANI. Hundreds of AAP activists protested near Jaitley’s official residence on Wednesday morning and were detained by Delhi Police.
Reacting on the suspension, Kirti Azad said he had been fighting against corruption.
The Delhi government has set up a Commission of Inquiry to probe the alleged corruption.
They were led by party leaders Dilip Pandey and Somnath Bharti, a former minister and now a legislator.
