Trump Says He’s Seen No Evidence Of Putin Killing Journalists
On Saturday in Cedar Rapids, Trump said anyone who criticizes the warm compliments he has swapped recently with Putin is simply “jealous”. “It has not been proven that he’s killed reporters”, he said.

Putin and Trump traded compliments last week, with the Russian president calling Trump a “very talented” person.
“We have such incompetent leadership that we’re going all over the place”, Trump said during a WABC interview.
Although the US and Russian Federation have been longtime foes, relations between the two nations have deteriorated rapidly over the past two years, following Moscow’s annexation of the Crimean Peninsula in March last year, and the subsequent imposition of economic sanctions on Russian Federation. You’re supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, at least in our country.
“I think, and I say this straightforwardly, I think you have a pathological liar there…. He’s making minced meat out of our president”, he claimed, noting the Russian president’s 80 percent approval rating.
Prime Minister David Cameron, Mayor of London Boris Johnson, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon have all denounced the radical politician following his remarks.
McCain also addressed Trump’s invective over his war record, saying that sort of personal attack comes with the territory of being in the political arena. “I haven’t seen that”, he added.
“If Putin respects me and if Putin wants to call me brilliant and other things that he said which were, frankly, very nice, I’ll accept that and I’ll accept that on behalf of our country”, Trump said on ABC News.
“Obama doesn’t get along with Putin”, Trump said. Instead he said Russian Federation was not the only country involved in killing people, pointing the finger at the United States, although he would not name specifics. “We proceed from only one thing, which is we can not just abandon the people who live in the southeast of the country to nationalists to eat them up”, Putin said. But I’ll tell you what if Putin likes me, and he thinks I am a good, smart person which I hope he believes that I am, he’s right…
“In all fairness to Putin, you’re saying he killed people”. “If he has killed reporters, I think that’s awful”, Trump said.

Stephanopoulos then suggested that Trump was suggesting there was a “moral equivalency between the United States and Russian Federation”, and Trump responded, “I’m not saying anything”.
