Cruz surges in key state polling, but national polling conflicting

The topic has come up in connection with calls from public officials to bar Syrian refugees from the US and Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from immigrating to the U.S. A separate study found that 50 percent of voters would be “embarrassed” if Trump was elected. A new CNN poll adds fresh evidence to bolster the impression of Trump’s total dominance as 2015 comes to a close. But Cruz is also thinking ahead.
