Three Israelis seriously injured in stabbing attack
“They understood immediately that an attack was occurring and they bravely ran to the site, identified two terrorists with knives while one was stabbing someone”, said Chief Superintendent for the Jerusalem District Asi Aharoni, YNet reported.

Two Israelis were seriously injured and one moderately, according to police spokesperson Luba al-Samri, who added that one of the three was likely injured by live fire when border guards opened fire on the attackers. The graffiti appears to refer to the July 31 attack on a home in the Palestinian village of Duma, which killed 18-month-old Ali Dawabsheh and his parents, Saad and Reham.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged “zero tolerance” for such attacks and Israel has authorized a series of steps, including administrative detention, to help stamp out the trend. “It was really like a movie”, he said. Palestinians say it stems from frustration at almost five decades of Israeli military rule.
Nearly daily stabbings, shootings and car-rammings by Palestinians have killed 19 Israelis and a USA citizen since October.
Yesh Din, an Israeli human rights organization, found that over 92.6 percent of complaints filed by Palestinians with the Israeli police do not result in charges being filed.
Palestinians such as Ahmad Amari from East Jerusalem also say they are afraid – of their Jewish neighbors. She said the assailants were from the occupied West Bank and local mosques mourned their deaths. Shin Bet said the militants operated an explosives laboratory in Abu Dis, and planned to carry out suicide bombings in Israel.
The two were buried in modest funerals.

The words “Revenge” and “Hello from the detainees of Zion” were daubed on the wall of a home next to the one attacked on Tuesday, witnesses said, an apparent reference to the suspects in the Duma arson case.
