Martin Shkreli is removed as CEO from another company, KaloBios
Shkreli was “terminated as chief executive officer of the company and resigned from his position as a member of the board of directors” on December 17, the day of his arrest, KaloBios said in a securities filing.

Shkreli was already widely reviled because a different drug company he founded, Turing Pharmaceuticals, raised the price of a life-saving drug from United States dollars 13.50 to USD 750 per pill.
Shkreli was arrested Thursday and charged with securities fraud and conspiracy. The medication is used to treat toxoplasmosis, a parasitic disease that afflicts people with compromised immune systems, such as pregnant women and individuals afflicted with AIDS. A few days later, news got out that he was the mysterious buyer of the one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang Clan album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin – and that Shkreli, who has been called “Mr. Wu-Tang ” by an actual USA senator, was saving it for a rainy day, unless maybe Taylor Swift wanted to come over and listen to it?
He also claimed his Twitter account had been hacked over the weekend.
Shkreli tweeted late Monday morning saying he had regained control of his account.
Referring to the individuals as “10-year-olds”, Shkreli blasted the cyber-pirates after they posted a series of expletive-laden messages – which mocked the millionaire for not only raising the price of Daraprim, but boasting about his riches in the months that followed.
And amid the public outrage against him, a NY homeless charity to which he donated $15,000 has said it will give him the money back. He is accused of using money from his first pharmaceutical company, Retrophin, to pay off money-losing investors in hedge funds he operated. Tony Chase, a board member that joined KaloBios in November when Shkreli acquired 70% of the company, has also left the company.
The securities fraud charge brought against Shkreli could lead to a prison sentence of 20 years.
It alleged that Shkreli made false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material information about the company’s business. The company announced it would shut down right before Shkreli and a group of investors swooped in with cash and pledges of financing to keep it going.
