Los Angeles Lakers Shooting Guard Kobe Bryant Stepping up His Game
Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant said Monday that he counts Thunder forward Kevin Durant among the Top 5 players he’s been on the court with in his 20-year National Basketball Association career.

Asked about his dunk Thursday against Houston – his first of the season, which might have contributed to his shoulder issue – Bryant said he was as excited as his younger teammates.
‘I would have loved to play overseas for a season, ‘ says Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, who was a kid when his father played in Italy.
Bryant, who made nine of 16 shots, including a pair of three-pointers, scored 22 points and had eight rebounds for the Lakers (4-22), who lost for the seventh time in their past eight games.
Bryant said if the Melbourne teenager does become a Laker the city’s legion of fans expect just one thing each season – an NBA Championship. “Being assured that there is a light at the end of the tunnel by guys that have gone through it and that are champions, you can always hold on to that if you continue to work on your craft and practice hard, compete, there’s going to come a time when you get over that hump”. Durant cherished playing with Bryant on two U.S. Olympic teams.
Scott’s awful relationship with D’Angelo Russell and pernicious worship of a struggling Kobe Bryant is already well documented.
But there’s one decision in particular that’s been under scrutiny recently, and that’s the benching of power forward Julius Randle. “They didn’t play well at all and really just got embarrassed by the way we played tonight”.
“I told him that the next time he does something exciting, I’m just going to do this”, Russell said, according to ESPN, while holding up two fingers. “I came in the league when there were still so many great players”.
“I lick my chops for whoever comes in”, Durant said of Bryant’s absence.
“If what I’ve done and what I’ve stood for these 20 years has impacted the players today and the players tomorrow in a positive way, in a way they can then carry that legacy on themselves and impact the generation to follow, that’s much more significant than where I stand in history”.
In the previous game against the Kings, Thornton only played six minutes. “Sometimes I get a little overzealous or excited when we beat Atlanta, beat Chicago, beat some of these teams”.
Randle’s lay-up pulled the Lakers to 76-81 less than three minutes into the fourth quarter, but an 11-0 run gave Houston a 92-76 lead.
Harden recorded 18 points and 11 assists while Howard paired 22 points with a game-high 14 rebounds to carry the Rockets (14-14).

“It’s not something that I’m absolutely pressing for”, he said, “but being a part of the Olympics is such a lovely experience”.
