“The Delhi government has not yet come out with any scheme on this issue”, the Bench said while rejecting the plea for interim stay till the next date of hearing.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said that the formal notification for the odd-even auto scheme, which seeks to reduce pollution in the national capital, will be out on Monday.
“I understand people will have some trouble but I appeal to people to cooperate”.
“Odd numbered cars will ply on odd days, even numbered cars on even days”, said the CM stating the obvious.
He said that the emergency vehicles like ambulances, fire tenders, prison vans, hearses and enforcement vehicles will also exempted. “Two-wheeler riders will also be exempted”, Kejriwal told the media.
He said those on way to hospital for medical emergency will also be exempted, if they carry proof. The Delhi government will also be releasing a vehicle pool app and a “Poocho” app to help residents to book auto rickshaws and taxis soon.
Batting for vehicle pooling, Kejriwal called it the most practical solution.
Talking about fines for defaulters, Kejriwal said, “Rs 2000 fine will be imposed on people who will violate the rules”. “This scheme is for you, for your children”. Almost 10 lakh private cars are expected to stay off Delhi roads, on a daily basis, once the odd-even formula is enforced.
Earlier this month, Kejriwal had introduced that he, his ministers and all authorities officers will comply with odd-even scheme.
The Delhi High Court on Wednesday asked the government to take into consideration the concerns of physically challenged commuters while formulating the odd-even scheme.
The government plans to run 6,000 more buses to accommodate the potential spurt in passengers who can’t drive their cars on a day.

The AAP chief claimed that while the odd-even formula had been in the works for a while, no Delhi CM before him had the “guts” to put it in practice.
