In April, Joe Giudice was sentenced by Passaic County Superior Court Judge Adam E. Jacobs for possession of a fraudulent driver’s license, which carries a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.

She’ll release a tell-all book about her life and time behind bars at the facility made famous by series Orange is the New Black.
Her eldest daughter, Gia, couldn’t contain her excitement tweeting “Welcome back” with a blushing emoji early Wednesday morning. She reportedly listened to Christmas music and sipped a cappuccino as she headed home to New Jersey.
Not only was she released from a CT federal prison – after serving 11 months for bankruptcy and mail fraud charges – but she showed remarkable resourcefulness in having her face on for her pre-Christmas Eve reunion with her family, and her fans.
Despite their shaky past, Melissa called Teresa’s Giudice’s release from prison a “Christmas miracle”. “Joe kind of stood off to the side for a second and let them all greet their mother”, a source told People.”Then the whole family kind of embraced each other and had a moment together”. She served time after pleading guilty in 2014 to bankruptcy fraud.
TERESA Giudice is a free woman.
“She’s very happy to be here”, her attorney, James Leonard Jr. said during a press conference outside the home. A Lexus wrapped in a red bow was waiting for her in her driveway.
She is “beyond excited to finally see her family”.
Say what you want about Teresa’s wrongdoings, but we’re thrilled she was able to get home in time for the holiday, if not just for her own peace of mind but for that of her daughters’.
But Leonard clarified that any rumors that her time at Danbury was “diva-like” was untrue.

It is also possible that People bought her the pricey SUV in exchange for the exclusive rights to her homecoming photos, or Bravo gave it to her to make her homecoming even more dramatic.
