What Does ‘Schlonged’ Mean? Donald Trump’s Hillary Clinton Insult Is Yiddish Word
Yes, it has come to this.

Larry Price, of Bettendorf, said the difference between the Democratic candidates for president and not just Mr. Trump but the Republican field in general was easy to identify. Where did Hillary go? “I think he was meaning, like, “schlonged to the ground, ‘ ‘schlonged around, ‘” Pierson said on CNN”.
Sen. Bernie Sanders is campaigning for President on an unchanging message that he’s crafted for half-a-century, that corporate power is gnawing away at ordinary Americans’ lives and that concentration of wealth with the very rich is a national crisis.
“I don’t respond to him personally, because he thrives on that kind of exchange. So sometimes I make outrageous comments and give them what they want – viewers and readers – in order to make a point”.
Anticipating a chaotic January in Iowa ahead of the February 1 Democratic caucus, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders wove their way through rural towns on opposing sides of the state on Tuesday in final pre-Christmas visits. “Again, I’m not sure anybody’s surprised that he keeps pushing the envelope”.
Hillary Clinton has now responded to Trump’s comment in an interview with the Des Moines Register.
While references to male genitalia and insults about Clinton’s need to use a restroom may please Trump’s existing supporters, there’s also evidence that he may have to work hard to win over other voters.
“I think we have a real shot to win here with your support in Iowa. When I said Hillary got “Scholonged” that meant beaten badly”. And his bigotry, his bluster, his bullying, have become his campaign. And he has to keep upping the stakes and going even further.
“I don’t know if any of you are following this in TV or in the papers, but there’s another new development – a never-ending development – from the Trump world”, Bernie said, as his supporters laughed through this whole routine. So, of course, Sanders commented after Trump said the following Monday night. “And it has been very upsetting for him”.
Then, with the partisan crowd cheering him on, he turned to an incident last Saturday when Mrs Clinton returned late to a televised debate after a bathroom break.

In an unusual aside – Sanders doesn’t like to talk much about himself – the Vermont senator delivered a confession: “I also went to the bathroom”.
