Hiddink: I want Drogba back at Chelsea
New Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink during the press conference at the Chelsea Training Ground.

Another report said Drogba should be on the sidelines Saturday when Chelsea play host to Watford, which will be Hiddink’s first match behind the bench.
“Why can’t I be here longer?” he said in El Pais yesterday, when asked about leaving the La Liga joint leaders, in an interview conducted before Mourinho’s departure.
Pep Guardiola used to be the frontrunner for job, but since he will not be available till the end of the season, Mourinho may be given the job if Van Gaal is sacked soon. We can’t ignore what has happened but I told them to be professionals and give the best of yourselves to the team. If you don’t have that desire, please knock on my door and we’ll talk – we’ll talk briefly. It’s one thing to have a coach tell you how you should act. There’s no lack of confidence in the way they perform.
“It’s nice to connect guys with big hearts somehow to the club”. I think that’s given everyone more of a chance and it’s given it an even keel, but it’s making it for a very exciting brand of football. As long as I feel desire, as long as I feel passion [to do the job].
Nevin himself and the BBC have since apologised, and Fabregas has posted on Instagram to say he was always committed to Mourinho, and acknowledge that he and his teammates let the manager down.
“We saw previous year that we have a lot of quality, we were champions because of that”. I will see what will happen.
“It is a different group of players [to when I was last here]”, Hiddink said.
“I’ve been able to get to know him a bit deeper than that, and he’s an exceptional person that it’s been a privilege and a pleasure to work with”. “It means things are not going well”.
“That is what I was emphasising on – not to look back so much”.
Hiddink watched the Sunderland victory and took in the poisonous atmosphere from high in the stands with owner Roman Abramovich and former striker Didier Drogba, who Chelsea has not ruled out returning in a coaching capacity.
The 37-year-old won a fourth Premier League title and third League Cup last term but left for Montreal Impact after the 2014-15 campaign.

“He is a legend already in this club, but also outside this club in the world”. But he is playing for Montreal, under contract. It also allows Drogba to continue to play the game he loves while also preparing for life after his career as a player. How it goes on now, it’s others who have to deal with that. After losing 2-1 to Leicester City last Monday the manager accused his players of betrayal.
