Grand Jury Indicted Truck Driver In Tracy Morgan Crash
The truck driver involved in the fatal traffic accident which left TRACY MORGAN in a critical condition previous year has been indicted on manslaughter and vehicular homicide charges.

Morgan was seriously injured and one of his passengers was killed.
Roper was charged on Wednesday, December 23, with first-degree aggravated manslaughter, second-degree vehicular homicide and eight counts of third-degree aggravated assault charges.
Before the crash, Roper had apparently been awake for 28 hours and was driving 20 miles over the speed limit – about 65 miles per hour in a work zone – according to a National Transportation Safety Board report in August.
The investigation also revealed that he didn’t slow down before he hit the 47-year-old’s vehicle, even though there were plenty of signs on the highway advising him to do so. Roper will be arraigned in court at a later date, prosecutors said.
Do U agree with the charges? Morgan settled with Wal-Mart this summer for an undisclosed amount. Glassman has since disputed these findings. Given the lack of any action to preserve the grand jury process or Roper’s due process rights, he said, “the question is whether an indictment returned under these circumstances will be allowed to stand. That is the question we intend to pursue before the court”.
He shared: “You’re never going to be normal after you go through something like that”.
“I wonder how I’m gonna be amusing again”, Morgan said. “I still got something for you to do.’ And here I am, doing an interview with you”.
