Former Wisconsin assistant Howard Moore returns to alma mater

Assistant Greg Gard takes over as interim coach. He had committed 17 turnovers in 439 minutes through the first 12 games. Carrington Love had seven of his 28 points in the surge, during which Green Bay forced the Badgers into 14 of their season-high 26 turnovers. The Badgers went 8-for-9 from the foul line in the final 1:34 to seal the victory.

Howard Moore, the former University of Illinois-Chicago head coach and a previous assistant coach under Ryan at Wisconsin, will return to Madison as an assistant for Gard, the Badgers announced on Tuesday. The junior is the 42nd player in Badgers history to hit the milestone.

The turnovers were alarming and something that will need to be fixed before Big Ten play begins on December 29 against Purdue.
