Russell Wilson, Jonathan Stewart selected to Pro Bowl
It will be Bennett’s first Pro Bowl trip in his seventh-season, Chancellor’s fourth Pro Bowl trip in his six seasons, Lockett becomes the seventh Seahawks player to earn Pro Bowl honors in his rookie season, Sherman’s third after being named first-team All-Pro in 2012-14, Thomas’ fifth-consecutive Pro Bowl trip in his six seasons since being the 14th overall selection in the 2010 NFL Draft, Wagner’s second-consecutive honor and Wilson’s fourth in four seasons as Seattle’s quarterback.

Even with their seven players tying with Arizona and New England for second most Pro Bowl selections for a team behind undefeated Carolina’s 10, the Seahawks do have a pair of players left off the roster that could be considered snubs – wide receiver Doug Baldwin and defensive end Cliff Avril.
Russell Wilson is riding his hot streak right into the Pro Bowl. Pro Bowl players participating in the next week’s Super Bowl don’t play or go to Hawaii for the game; alternates and other subsequent replacements take their places. Baldwin is tied for the NFL lead with 13 touchdown receptions – including 10 in his last four games alone – while Avril is tied for 18th in the league with 7.5 sacks.
Wagner is second on the Seahawks with 101 tackles (56 solo) and is the second player in franchise history (Terry Beeson, 1977-80) to record four consecutive 100-tackle seasons. “I’ve lost every game, I’ve won a Super Bowl, and making it to the Pro Bowl would be pretty cool, too”. And it is the fourth time in the past five years that the Seahawks sent three members of their secondary to the Pro Bowl.
Defensive-end partner Bennett has the sack numbers – a career-high 9 1/2 that is third in the NFC and proof of how good he’s been. Lockett also set a franchise record with a 105-yard kickoff return for a touchdown vs. Chicago on September 27.
Chancellor, who sat out the first two games in a contract dispute, ranks third on the Seahawks with 74 tackles. Hekker’s 38 punts inside the 20 also leads the NFL.

Baldwin is one of five Seattle Pro Bowl alternates. St. Louis plays its final two games on the road, where it has dropped four straight to fall to 1-5.
