‘I’ve Always Had A Good Feeling About’ Putin
Days after Vladimir Putin praised Donald Trump as an “outstanding and talented person”, the GOP 2016 candidate is launching a vociferous defense on behalf of the Russian president, backing Putin against allegations that he has ordered the murder of journalists in Russia. He also applauded Putin as “a leader, unlike, you know, what we have in this country”. And I’ve always had a good instinct about Putin, for me, I just feel that that’s a guy – and I can analyze people. I’m saying, when you say a man has killed reporters, I’d like you to prove it. And I’m saying it would be a bad thing if it were true.

“As far as the reporters are concerned, obviously I don’t want that to happen”, Trump said.
Donald Trump said he was honored by an endorsement from Russian President Vladimir Putin. You’re supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, at least in our country.
The Committee to Protect Journalists lists at least 36 reporters killed in Russian Federation since 1993.
Trump also fired back at claims by Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton that his anti-Muslim rhetoric has become fodder for recruiters of the Islamic State militant group, calling it “another Hillary lie”.
Grilled about the matter on Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” show, Trump defended Putin’s record regarding Russian journalists who have died.
“There are many allegations he was behind the killing of Anna Politkovskaya”, Stephanopoulos said.
“What killing sanctioned by the United States government is like killing journalists?”
At a rally in New Hampshire, Bush said Trump is a “jerk”. “I have met with the senator on multiple occasions: He is brilliant, articulate, and informed”. “I would never kill them”.
But confronted with pushback, Trump actually embraced Putin with even greater vigor.
What the two men share, and recognize in each other, goes beyond strong polling numbers, an affinity for incendiary language and a contempt for those (with President Obama leading the list) they regard as weak.
“I think I’ll win the Hispanic vote”, Trump told reporters after touring the bridge. “Do you know the names of the reporters that he’s killed?” “He’s making minced meat out of our president”.
Although Americans are unlikely to have a favorable opinion of the Russian leader, they still love Trump and his quest to “Make America Great Again”.
“I believe I will get along fine with Putin”, Trump said.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich’s campaign on Saturday issued a mock press release announcing that Trump had named Putin his running mate.
