Track Santa as Norad follows him around the globe in 2015
But as they are getting older, they’ve started doubting the existence of Santa Claus. EADS is a unit of NORAD. This is the 60th year NORAD has tracked Santa.

NORAD will begin its Santa tracking operation at 2 a.m. ET on Thursday, December 24. “I can assure everyone that EADS will do everything in its power to assist Santa with his critical mission”.
The result was a tradition continued by NORAD of tracking Santa’s location the night before Christmas.
It’s a yearly tradition dating back to 1955.
The hapless commander at the Continental Air Defence Command Operations Centre was besieged with calls but, being a family man, he took it in good spirit and from the misprint, Santa Tracker was born.
When CONAD chief Colonel Harry Shoup answered it, the child asked to speak to Santa.
This allows NORAD to provide callers with real time updates on Satna’s progress.
NORAD was created in 1958 by the governments of Canada and the United States as a bi-national air defense command.
Each festive season the air forces tasked with defending U.S. airspace instead devote themselves to tracking Father Christmas.
NORAD has 157 telephone lines and hundreds of volunteers ready to answer calls, including first lady Michelle Obama, who takes a break from her Hawaii vacation to take forwarded calls.
“We keep adding stuff every year”, said Staff Sgt. Kyle Kelly after he and a team of airmen taped down phone wires in the call center Monday.
And who knows you might get a magic phone call from Santa, who tells you whether you have been naughty or nice throughout the year and win free goodies.
In 2013, the NORAD website attracted more than 19.5 million unique visitors in December, the Facebook page drew 1.45 million “likes” and the Twitter feed had 146,000 followers.
