Nine hour stand off ends with suspect in custody, two officers shot
Authorities say multiple Odessa police officers have been shot while attempting to serve a warrant at the apartment complex that ended with the suspect being taken into custody.

An hours-long standoff in West Texas is over. Authorities said the suspect had barricaded himself inside the apartment complex.
Officials say one officer is in fair condition, while the other is undergoing surgery.
Police said that at about 11:55 a.m., the wanted subject began shooting and officers, striking Gonzalez and Wester.
Steve LeSueur with the Odessa Police Department confirm two officers were shot while serving a warrant at the Clayton Manor Apartments around 11:50 a.m.
Witnesses on the scene are saying as many as 35 shots were fired.
The shooting at the Clayton Manor Town Homes on Wednesday left several nearby residents and homeowners in shock.

Those agencies included the Odessa Police Department, Medical Center Hospital Police, Ector County ISD police, DPS, Texas Rangers, ATF and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
