Cent Uses Rick Ross Over Use Of “In Da Club”

50 Cent has filed a lawsuit (Dec. 23) against Rick Ross for rapping over his “In Da Club” beat as a means to promote Black Market, his eighth studio album, Billboard can confirm. Ross’ remix of the 2003 hit appears on a new mixtape he recently put out.

It could be that this particular lawsuit by 50 Cent is potentially just a shot taken in retaliation over the lawsuit he ended up losing over leaking the sex tape.

Jackson is now seeking $2 million in damages from the “false and misleading promotional advertising campaign”.

Attorneys for Rick Ross had no comment on the matter.
