Colts head to Miami in danger of missing playoffs
The Eagles lost a member of their practice squad Thursday, as quarterback Stephen Morris signed to the Indianapolis Colts’ 53-man roster.

For the most part, Hilton’s fantasy owners have been treated well this season, as the 26-year-old playmaker out of Florida International has put up 72.6 receiving yards per game with a handful of touchdowns.
Morris started 25 games at the University of Miami and owns the school’s single-season record for total offense (3,415 yards). He went undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, however, and was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent.
Morris was signed to the practice squad September 23, two days after being waived.
If Hasselbeck is forced out of the game, the Colts would be forced to turn to 3rd-string quarterback Charlie Whitehurst, so it’s not otherwise a promising quarterback situation for a team with slim hopes of a playoff berth.
While Hasselbeck is expected to start on Sunday against the Dolphins, his physical health could be a major concern throughout the course of the game, having already suffered through a number of other physical ailments. This could also indicate some doubt as to Hasselbeck’s status, but I don’t think it necessarily has to mean that he won’t play. If the Dolphins can find a way to be burned by both of them, then you can imagine the kind of potential Hilton has in this Week 16 matchup.

In a corresponding move, rookie cornerback D’Joun Smith was placed on injured reserve. “Obviously he’s played through some injuries and he’s done a great job”. Both wideouts have accrued over 100 targets this season, and, in all honesty, using Hilton as more of a deep threat with Moncrief taking on more of a chain-moving role seems to be working. That’s unfortunate, but his rookie season was hampered by injury.
