Russian Federation could have dedicated war crimes with airstrikes in Syria which have killed lots of of civilians & triggered “massive destruction” in residential areas, in accordance to Amnesty International.

The report also included testimonies of eyewitnesses and survivors of attacks as well as examination of video evidence and images showing the aftermath of attacks, aided by analysis from weapons experts. Attacks included one on a crowded market in Ariha, in Idlib province, with a death toll of 49 civilians, and another on a residential building in Al Ghantu, in Homs province, in which 32 children and minors and 11 women were reported dead.
The London-based group also said there was “evidence suggesting Russia’s use of internationally banned cluster munitions and of unguided bombs in populated residential areas”.
Russian Federation claims it’s forces are operating in conjunction with worldwide law. It said it had put its findings to the Russian authorities, but received no “substantive response”.
These attacks, according Amnesty International’s report, may be war crimes. Russia’s military, while in possession of precision-guided munitions, has predominantly used unguided weapons or “dumb bombs” – many of them decades old – against targets in Syria.
It remotely researched more than 25 attacks in five areas between 30 September and 29 November.
“Once more, nothing concrete or new was published, only the same cliches and fakes that we have already debunked repeatedly”, said General-Major Igor Konashenkov, a Russian Defence Ministry spokesman.
The US has rarely acknowledged civilian deaths in its air bombardment of the so-called Islamic State (IS), which began in September 2014, although some monitoring groups say the toll could run into hundreds.
In reference to Russia’s alleged responsibility for Sunday’s deadly strikes in Idlib, a senior State Department official said it was not for the USA or the US coalition to investigate claims of collateral damage by Russian aircraft.
Cluster munitions explode in the air and indiscriminately shower dozens – sometimes hundreds – of smaller bomblets or submunitions over an area the size of a football field.
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov has insisted its military in Syria operates in line with global law.
