Neil hoping for ‘busy’ Norwich transfer window
Norwich City needed last week’s Premier League win over Manchester United to kickstart their campaign and can carry that momentum on to their next game against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, manager Alex Neil has said.

Andre Wisdom, who missed the win at Manchester United with a hamstring injury, is “touch and go” while boss Alex Neil has no other concerns.
Tottenham are nine points behind surprise leaders Leicester with Arsenal and Manchester City ahead of them in the Premier League table.
Since Norwich bounced straight back up following their relegation in 2013-14, it’s only been just under two years since these two sides last met.
Mason has not played in nearly a month but returned to training this week and is in contention for the clash at White Hart Lane.
“In the dressing room afterwards, we knew it was a one-off and that’s what we wanted to show to everyone on the outside as well, it was a one-off”. It happened but the focus is back and we showed that at Southampton.
“When you’re performing well, you’re making sure that you’re picking up maximum reward”.
That run included some extremely good results, such as a 4-1 win over Manuel Pellegrini’s aforementioned City, and victory by the same scoreline against West Ham United. “That’s what you need, a good run”, the Belgian defender told the club’s website.
Since defeating Spurs at White Hart Lane in April 2012 (2-1), Norwich City have failed to win any of their last 15 Premier League away trips to London (L9 D6).
“I think one of the things that has made it more hard for us is we didn’t strengthen the squad as much as we wanted before the season started and hopefully we can put that right, because it makes things easier moving forward”.

The win on the south coast moved Spurs back into the top four, and they can consolidate their position with three points against the 16th-placed Canaries. If they can keep everybody fit, they’ll be at the top end of the league.
