JJ Abrams regrets not directing eighth ‘Star Wars’ film
Walt Disney Pictures has provided us with an update on the Star Wars box office results so far. With the current trend of a few big-budget films ruling the box office, “We could see average film rent expenses push higher”, says Wold, which would hurt theater profit margins. Now, it’s also been selected as The Associated Press Entertainer of the Year and is amassing support for Academy Awards consideration.

Also, take into account that Star Wars earned a nomination for Best Picture in 1978 (as well as director, screenplay and supporting actor for Alec Guinness), and won another six trophies at the ceremony.
Do you wish J.J. Abrams had stayed on to direct Star Wars: Episode VIII, or are you looking forward to seeing what Rian Johnson will do with the sequel to The Force Awakens? How many times have you seen it? “We were still editing, refining and adjusting the film”.
That’s great news for Star Wars fans, as it suggests the next Star Wars movie will be just as good, if not better, than “The Force Awakens”. Disney India’s Consumer Products business has collaborated with 50 brands across categories including apparel, accessories, toys, home and many more to bring alive the “Star Wars” galaxy.
In a lot of ways, the vague nature of The Force Awakens has given everyone a lot to talk about for the next two years. It is a struggle as a writer and a director to things like keeping or leaving a scene.
Slash Films suspects that there can be three possibilities of Rey’s identity.
She fights the dark side all through the movie with Finn’s help but nothing is revealed about her family.
Although the Kylo Ren scene was probably the most memorable one that was cut from the trailers, another missing shot, in which Maz Kanata hands a lightsaber to General Leia, represents a more significant change in the plot.
“It ended up being an unnecessary hot potato”, said Abrams. But… if we hadn’t done that, the movie wouldn’t have any guts at all. It definitely wasn’t meant to be diversionary. The next film in the new “Star Wars” trilogy is slated for a May 26, 2017 released date in the United States. Unlike his predecessor, Abrams isn’t interested in rereleases. “I feel the movie that comes out is the movie that should be the intended final product”. Boyega said that he’s excited to start filming Episode VIII “in a few weeks in London” when he addressed a crowd there.
