Bristol Palin has welcomed her second child, a little girl. The 25-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin announced the news on her Instagram account on Christmas Eve with an adorable photo of her newborn daughter.
She never revealed the father’s identity, but made the announcement about one month after breaking off her engagement to Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer.
And the second pregnancy came seven years after her pregnancy with Tripp caused problems for her mother’s Republican vice-presidential campaign in 2008. “Our family couldn’t be more complete”, she wrote beneath a photograph of her & her sleeping baby in what seems to be a hospital bed.
Palin said she announced the news on her blog sooner than she would have preferred, because of “constant trolls who have nothing better to talk about”. “Honestly, I’ve been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one”, she wrote in a blog post. She still hasn’t said who the father is, though many assume it’s Meyer. “I couldn’t be more proud of this little blessing”. The father was her first fiancé, Levi Johnston.
At the time, Palin joked that Kristin Cavallari ripped off her idea when she named her baby Saylor, despite the difference in spelling.
Bristol then became an advocate for abstinence.

She also performed on Dancing With The Stars and had a short-lived cable TV show called Life’s A Tripp.
