I am a fan of ‘Star Wars’: Aamir Khan
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly after The Force Awakens‘ release, Abrams revealed just why we never got to see the Jedi weapon being handed over in the film. I am excited about the film.

Nevertheless, it’s a good time to be a fan of the genre as the next couple of years could be potentially incredible. The animation has a few good markets left to open next year but I doubt those will change the discussion much. Of course, after that Abrams goes back to lining up the plastic-bedecked ones for easy laser-blastin’, but don’t discount that small moment of grace.
After watching The Force Awakens, I’m actually excited for future Star Wars movies (something I never thought I’d say), but less excited to revisit this particular Star Wars movie.
That is, when Abrams brings himself to implement the new strategy. The only clue we got to her parentage was during a dream sequence, and all we got from that was they like to ride freighters.
There are times when Abrams leans too heavily on the in-jokes and those nostalgic inversions – the reintroductions of the original trilogy characters are especially awkward.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is headed for the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office faster than any film in history after shattering numerous records since it began opening a week ago.
