Lots of Windows users have started to decry the fact that they’re not getting their money’s worth after paying for additional content inside of apps from the Windows Store.
Proofpoint, a Calif.-based cybersecurity firm, told CNNMoney that vShare obtained at least four enterprise certificates and used them to sign its own vShare app. The vShare app, once installed on an iOS device, then acts as a portal to the company’s illegal app market.
While its operating system is still dominant in the PC sphere, the same can not be said for mobile phones, where Microsoft is still struggling to establish itself. While Facebook and Google dominates the list, and even Apple gets a mention, as the title of this post suggests, none of Microsoft’s apps on these two platforms are present. Users will be able to find apps from Microsoft across categories like productivity, education, entertainment, communication, news, and more.

Apart from these most well-known apps such as the Microsoft Office suite and Skype, Microsoft Apps lets you explore other familiar apps that it wishes to bring to the fore. As a result the number of apps available on the Google Play Store have also increased manyfold. According to Microsoft, the Windows Store has over 350,000 apps, many of which are supported by in-app purchases.
