Ex-Manchester United winger Andrei Kanchelskis hits out at Louis van Gaal
Andrei Kanchelskis has slammed Louis van Gaal amid growing discontent over the Manchester United manager’s playing style.

Kanchelskis – who won two league titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup at Old Trafford – has laid the blame firmly at Van Gaal’s door, and suggested the United squad lacks leaders.
Van Gaal has come under intense pressure following a run of results that has seen the club drop out of the Champions League and fall to fifth in the Premier League.
It’s hard to agree with van Gaal as there has been virtually no positives to take away from recent games against Bournemouth and Norwich.
The Dutchman walked out of his latest press conference after answering only three questions, voicing his annoyance at reporters asking him about speculation that he was facing the sack.
Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is the favourite to take over should that happen.
The former Bayern Munich manager said his family and friends had been adversely affected by the criticism and claimed he had been contacted by former manager Alex Ferguson, executive vice chairman Ed Woodward and director David Gill recently about the matter.
“I am disappointed with the way United are playing”.
“Has anybody in this room not a feeling to apologize to me?” I think I was already sacked, I have read.
Was Louis Van Gaal right to demand an apology from the media? This is not a head coach for Manchester United.
“But I didn’t feel that in the media and of course I can imagine that you can write about that subject”.

Van Gaal can lift the spirit of fans by ending United’s poor run at Stoke on Boxing Day.
