PK Subban spreads holiday cheer at Montreal Children’s Hospital
At the time of the donation, Subban said that he wanted to be remembered for more than his hockey career. Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban combined the two wonderful holiday traditions to bring happiness to a large group of kids from the Montreal Children’s Hospital. A few days ago, he teamed up with Air Canada to turn the atrium of the hospital into an incredible winter wonderland for the kids and their families.

But Subban’s involvement with the hospital doesn’t just end with money. Kids were treated to face-painting stations, candy bars and teddy bear-building workshops while the parents got travel vouchers courtesy of Air Canada.
This is not the first time Subban has worked with the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
“I have the ability as of right now to encourage other people to get involved”, Subban told NHL.com. It’s hard to name a player in Montreal who has a bigger impact that Subban on the ice – outside of Carey Price, of course – but off the ice, Subban is a clear front-runner for his generosity.

While he was spreading cheer for Christmas, Subban will be all business come New Year’s Day when the Canadiens visit their Original Six rival Bruins in the 2016 Winter Classic in Boston.
