NASA on Thursday, December 24th released grainy radar images of an asteroid flying close to Earth on Christmas Eve.

As you gaze up at the Christmas moon, take note that NASA has a spacecraft now orbiting Earth’s moon.
Finland’s Ursa Astronomical Association, the oldest and largest amateur astronomy association in the country, states on its website that a full moon will shine down on Finland the night of December 25th.
If clouds interfere with your view, the Slooh Community Observatory is hosting a free webcast beginning at 7 p.m. EST on Christmas Eve.
Examples include the beloved television specials “Frosty the Snowman” (1969) and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” (1964), as well as the movie “The Santa Clause” (1994) starring Tim Allen.
