Flores vows Watford are ready for Hiddink’s Chelsea
“We are now in contact with Didier Drogba and Chelsea”, the club tweeted on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old Spanish global was a key figure in Chelsea’s title success last term but supporters booed him during the weekend defeat of Sunderland and there were banners calling him, Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard “rats” for their part in Mourinho’s downfall.
Guus Hiddink was unveiled as Chelsea’s interim manager yesterday and told his players that they have a “profound obligation to perform”, or else he will be getting rid of them.
“First of all, some youth players are participating in first-team training sessions, but I want my analysis and observations first”, said the Dutchman, who has been appointed interim manager by Chelsea for a second time.
The champions begin Boxing Day 11 points behind the Champions League places and only three above the relegation zone, though Hiddink has stressed to his players they can still finish in the top four.

Hiddink said: “I’ve been at several clubs and every now and again we have our conversations, but not in a formal way”.
“It is not easy to say “I am here and tomorrow the problem is solved”. I will not beg them to perform.
“I shouldn’t be here, halfway into the season, because it means things aren’t going well, but I am glad to be back”, he said.
“Let’s go into the next few games and we will see”.
“As long as I feel desire, as long as I feel passion (to do the job)”.
The Blues’ two-time Player of the Year has failed to score in 24 appearances across all competitions this season, a steep fall from the player who managed to net 19 goals last season and 17 goals the campaign before that.
“He had a terrific season a year ago and it’s also normal you can have a setback after that”, said Hiddink.
“The official process (on Drogba) I do not know, but I spoke openly from the bottom of the heart that such impact players can be huge for the club”, he added.

The Montreal Impact are trying desperately to convince star striker Didier Drogba to play for them next season rather than go back to struggling Chelsea FC, but admit the decision is out of their control. “I want a spine, to have strong people who can lead and coach during the game as well”.
