Samsung must be feeling the heat.

An early release seems more plausible as Samsung seeks to interrupt sales of the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus ahead of its Fall unveiling.

Memory wise, there’s good news, with the Galaxy Note 5 said to be shipping with 4GB of RAM, the first Samsung device to do so. According to the support page, these mysterious devices have the model numbers SM-N920 and SM-N925F, Sam Mobile reported. In the following years, it is hard to envision a different material overtaking metal (aluminum specifically) as the main building block of flagship smartphones.

SamMobile says North America and several countries in Asia-including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Korea-will see the Galaxy Note 5 hit store shelves.

Samsung’s decision to roll out the new flagship could be to go ahead of Apple who is launching the next iPhone middle of September.

Alongside the Note 5, it’s expected that Sammy will also announce the Galaxy S6 Edge+.

Phone Arena emphasized that these are just speculations and the company has yet to release any official announcement. Plenty.

The Galaxy J7 on the other hand comes with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a 720×1280 pixels resolution that roughly translates to 267 ppi pixel density. It has no screen curvature and is flat unit, but it follows the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge design language with a slope of the back panel. It is considerably slimmer, typical of an “S6 edge” device, but the rear camera also protrudes considerably, adding to the thickness.

Despite the differences in name, think of both devices as larger versions of the S6 and S6 Edge.

The inside has plenty to get excited about. It will have a 64-bit Octa-core Exynos 7422 all-in-one chipset that includes the GPU, RAM storage, and LTE modem on-board.
