She shared: “To be honest, I’m so happy”.

Meanwhile, broadcaster Katie Derham and partner Anton Du Beke finished in fourth place. “All I wanted to do was get to the final”.

The Strictly relationship curse is a well-known aside to the popular BBC1 dance competition that has seen many romances between partners form and many existing couples crumble.
