Blake Griffin out at least 2 weeks
Blake Griffin is expected to miss at least two weeks with a partially torn left quad tendon suffered in the Clippers’ Christmas Day win against the Lakers.

Bryant is averaging 17.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 30.5 minutes per game this season and the Lakers have a record of 5-25, worst in the Western Conference.
The retiring Kobe Bryant may not have the best game but his presence alone is enough for fans as he played his final NBA Christmas game by scoring 12 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in 26 minutes of game play. But Clippers coach Doc Rivers offers no complaints about Bryant beating out Blake Griffin in the balloting.
He did not make the team’s trip to Utah for the Clippers Saturday matchup against the Jazz.
“Tonight, my bones just couldn’t get loose”, said Bryant, who turned 37 in August.
Bryant is the leading scorer in NBA All-Star Game history with 280 points and only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (19) has appeared in more All-Star matches than the Lakers guard.
“It was a national game and a Christmas Day game, and he stepped up as a lot of people saw him”, Lakers forward Nick Young said.
However Rivers decides to replace Griffin, it will be up to DeAndre Jordan, Chris Paul and J.J.
The game really seemed out of reach by the time both sides were preparing to play the fourth quarter, and that is a strong testament to what Lob City is really made of. Julius Randle had 11 points and eight rebounds.
The biggest bright spot for the Lakers, outside of a nice fourth-quarter comeback effort, was the play of D’Angelo Russell. I think he feels real good from a physical standpoint. They also missed 12 of their 25 free throws. “I thought defensively, even though they scored 84 points, I thought we could’ve been so much better, even with the lead in the first half”.

The 60-year-old skipped the classic Christmas Day traditions and gifted her four kids with an epic Lakers basketball game in Los Angeles.
