Warriors-Cavs draws almost 11 million viewers on Christmas
Curry led the 2014-15 Golden State Warriors to a 67-15 regular-season record and the franchise’s first National Basketball Association title in 40 years. The Warriors, averaging a league-best 115 points per game, put up a season-low total.

Calling the NBA Finals rematch between Golden State and Cleveland on Christmas Day in the ESPN/ABC panel together with Mike Breen and Jeff Van Gundy, Jackson unleashed his latest tirade against the Curry.
“It got the build-up and it nearly felt like the finals”, said Curry, comparing the atmosphere to last June’s championship series.
Bryant has 719,235 votes, far ahead of runner-up Stephen Curry (510,202), the NBA’s reigning MVP for the Warriors, and more than double LeBron James of the Cavaliers (357,937). With neither club able to get much separation, the Warriors finally opened up an 81-71 advantage on a soaring Green layup with 3:48 left. “Steph Curry is the MVP”.
That, combined with Golden State’s fantastic 24-game winning streak to start the season, is more than enough to inspire the fans and make his followers try to emulate their game after him.
Mark Jackson used to coach Steph Curry and was a deft point guard himself, but a comment he dropped during yesterday’s Cavaliers vs. Warriors has many shaking their head in disgusts. Sports, “I don’t know what he means by that. If you can’t, stop”, he said.
Warriors center Andrew Bogut, who also played under Jackson, didn’t appreciate his former coach’s remarks.
“After I heard all of what he was talking about, I understand where he’s coming from – that being for the youth of today and how they watch us play or watch me in particular, and they want to go out and try to do the same thing”, Curry said.

Most noteworthy when considering his ever-growing legacy, is that Curry is just the fourth National Basketball Association player in the 85-year history of the award to win it joining Larry Bird (1986), Michael Jordan (1991, 1992, 1993), and current rival LeBron James (2013). “Knowing him personally, I think that’s what he meant”.
