EA says Star Wars Battlefront won’t get Force Awakens DLC
Director JJ Abrams seems anxious to impress upon movie-goers that Star Wars (the original trilogy at least) was no ordinary series.

The space saga racked up US$391.1 million in its first week – obliterating the record of $296.2 million set in June by the first week of “Jurassic World”. Abrams has helped reinvigorate the franchise after George Lucas led us astray with the Prequels, and is very much responsible for making Star Wars feel like Star Wars again.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” surged above estimates to post an all-time industry-high $248 million domestically plus $281 million internationally for a record global debut of $529 million since opening Dec 16, Disney said Monday.
Daisy Ridley has also praised the screenplay in recent interviews, and while Abrams isn’t going to be directing Star Wars Episode VIII, he will at least be staying on as an executive producer. He was reading the titles to me as they went by.
The film is rated PG-13 for sci-fi action violence. He has in his possession the twisted, mangled mask that Darth Vader wore, and wears a Vader-like mask himself, but his motives are unclear; his back-story is obviously being kept in reserve for the sequels. Then there was Spain ($8.7 million) and lastly Brazil, Mexico and Italy offered record openings for the month of December ($8.2 million, $8.1 million and $7.5 million).
A Montana man was charged with threatening to shoot a boy for sharing information about a subplot of the new “Star Wars” movie during an online conversation.
Moreover, it was estimated that the movie “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will only take nine days to cross the $500 million box office mark, while it took “Jurassic World” seventeen days to do so, as reported by the Box Office Mojo.
In addition, Hot Toys has released images of their Star Wars: The Force Awakens 1/6th scale Finn collectible figure as well as the 1/6th scale Finn and First Order Riot Control Stormtrooper collectible set.

Disney did well in the build0up to the anticipated film to not reveal much in the way of spoilers.
