Hasan did not let it go easily.

“This is RSS ideology and today RSS is ignoring it and saying Ram Madhav’s statement is government’s statement”.
This wasn’t the only controversial remark made by Madhav during the interview. Questions about eminent personalities returning their awards citing rising cases of intolerance to rising cases of communal violence kick-started the heated interview. Nearly 20 minutes into the show, Hasan asked Madhav about the Modi government’s Pakistan policy and the unrest in Kashmir.
The BJP general secretary’s remark, however, provoked stinging barbs from Congress, which said the saffron party will require a “heart transplant” to achieve the goal, while CPI-M dubbed Madhav’s utterances on “Akhand Bharat” as “surest way” of derailing the dialogue with Pakistan.
The Left Front has said in the backdrop of such comments, superficial talks between the two leaders can not help strengthen the ties between the two nations. “Your ISIS can catch hold of nuclear weapons”.
A leading official from India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) believes that through “popular goodwill”, parts of India that were separated 60 years ago will come together. Madhav, who is in charge of the BJP’s Jammu & Kashmir affairs, also said, “The only outstanding issue with regard to the Kashmir problem is the Kashmir under Pakistan occupation”.
Ram Madhav, however, clarified that this will not happen through war, but through “popular consent”.

Madhav said the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) still believes that one day these parts, which were separated for historical reasons would again come together.
