‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ becomes fastest movie to $1 billion worldwide
It seems that the closest fans will get to any “Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens” content is with the Battle of Jakku DLC, which adds one of the planets found in the film to the game.

“Dilwale has been a resounding success in Pakistan and it is increasingly hard for any film to compete against it. Despite an average opening day, The Force Awakens is bound to pick up in the coming few days, mainly due to positive word-of-mouth”, Rasheed told local media.
The film, which officially opened in the United States on December 18 and in some global markets on December 16, has generated box-office revenue of $890.3 million worldwide through Christmas Day, Burbank, California-based Walt Disney Co. said in a statement on Saturday.
Prior to The Force Awakens, the fastest a movie crossed the $1bn threshold was Universal Pictures’ Jurassic World in 13 days this past June.
It is expected that Star Wars will reach the magic $1 billion mark on Sunday, Dec. 27.
Disney also announced that this seventh “Star Wars” installment has set a United States and Canadian record for largest box office on Christmas day, by pulling in 49.3 million dollars.
If it’s familiar however, that’s because it’s the title of a novel in Star Wars’ Expanded Universe (now called Legends). That topped the previous record of $24.6 million set by Sherlock Holmes in 2009. It will open there on January 9. While certainly an appropriate name, it’s far darker and more cynical than the hopeful title of “The Force Awakens”.
