The pre-school show is moving to HBO from PBS where it premiered in 1969 and had aired since.
The first trailer for HBO’s Sesame Street shows off the new look to the show, released just before Christmas.
The trailer teases some famous guest stars, like Usher, Pharrell Williams, Tina Fey, Jon Hamm, Sara Bareilles, Gwen Stefani and many more.
Sesame Workshop struck a deal back in August that allows HBO to host the next five seasons. The 46th season will also air on PBS, albeit nine months after their original broadcast on HBO.

It’s Sesame Street, the kiddie classic that was facing funding woes until HBO announced a partnership with it this past summer. Sesame Street won’t be leaving PBS, either. Big Bird’s still sleeping with longtime love Tracee Ellis Ross, Cookie Monster’s still eating his feelings, and, as evidenced by several vintage clips, everyone has been untouched by the ravages of time. The show will make its debut on the premium cable service on January 16th, 2016 with back-to-back 30 minute episodes.
