Peyton Manning refutes report he used HGH in 2011
The Broncos released a statement Sunday morning regarding the allegations against their quarterback Peyton Manning.

Manning said it also makes him sick that his wife was brought into it.
“The allegation that I would do something like that is complete garbage and totally made up”, Manning said in a statement issued through the Denver Broncos to U.S. media. As part of his cover, Collins told medical professionals tied to the doping trade that he planned to compete in the 2016 Olympics.
The story states that HGH was sent to Peyton Manning’s wife, Ashley, and that Manning’s agent did not deny Ashley Manning received shipments of human growth hormone.
British hurdler Liam Collins went undercover and spoke with Charlie Sly, an Austin, Texas-based pharmacist who worked at an Indiana-based anti-aging clinic in 2011.
He said he was attended at the pharmacy by team doctors and coaches.
While still a member of the Colts, Manning underwent neck surgery that caused him to miss the entire 2011 season. I have done it the long way and done it the hard way and to insinuate anything otherwise is a complete and total joke its defamation and it really ticks me off. I have not cut corners. “It’s a joke. It’s a freaking joke”.
ESPN’s Keyshawn Johnson is already convinced of Manning’s innocence after hearing the interview.
Other US sports stars are named by Sly in the report, including former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson and Major League Baseball players Ryan Howard and Ryan Zimmerman, although Sly has since told ESPN that he was “testing” Collins by dropping the names. His license expired on May 1, 2013.
Zimmerman “denied using the drugs to the [Al Jazeera] network”, according to the Huffington Post report, which went on to say that, “Sly, when pressed by Al Jazeera, backtracked, saying that his claims about supplying the drugs to athletes were ‘false and incorrect'”.
If Sly really did fabricate this whole story – which he has admitted to doing – then there’s reason for Manning to be as furious as he is; as we’ve seen with many other athletes accused of using performance-enhancing drugs, his legacy is on the line.
Speaking with NFL.com’s Ian Rapport, Manning’s spokesman said the player has never failed a drug test.
“I’m that angry”, King said, relaying Manning’s comments when the former Tennessee quarterback was asked if he would sue Al Jazeera.
