Seattle Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls out for rest of season
For all the NFL MVP candidates, it could become very important to put up big numbers of the next two weeks, because they could all be looking at rest in Week 17. The 24-year-old was waived by Seattle’s National Football League team in November but will be returning soon and Hawks head coach Pete Carroll confirmed Brown’s inclusion in their camp, per a Twitter post from the team’s official account.

“Right now we’re going to stay on course and continue to push our approach and see that we can’t keep it on a really good track”, Carroll said. Would it work? Fascinating questions both, but ones that we will likely never get the answers to. Rawls’ left leg appeared to get caught under him on a 2nd and goal rush to the right, however.
So for now the Seahawks will go with a combination of Harris, Jackson and Brown, with Carroll adding that fullback Derrick Coleman – who played tailback at UCLA – could join the mix. Rawls is out for the season with an ankle injury, leaving Harris and Fred Jackson to carry the workload for the time being.
The remaining schedule doesn’t create an urgency for a quick return by Lynch. “And the offensive line is giving me enough time to make those decisions and get the ball out on time”. “But he plays with a lot of energy”.
Before the season, the Week 14 matchup between the Seahawks and Ravens was billed for Sunday Night Football because of the potential playoff implications between these two perennial Super Bowl contenders.
The Seattle Seahawks plan to sign running back Bryce Brown after losing Thomas Rawls for the season, according to reports from CBS draft analyst Rob Rang and NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.
Seattle’s second-ranked defense backed Wilson by keeping the Ravens (4-9) out of the end zone, forcing two turnovers and allowing only 28 yards rushing.
Rawls finishes the season with 830 yards rushing. But his numbers dipped in 2013, and he was traded to Buffalo in 2014.
It is not just his ability to produce that has led the Seahawks this season though.
After making a brief appearance at the team’s headquarters last week, Carroll said Lynch will be doing his rehab offsite until he’s ready to start practicing again. “He’s part of it. We don’t know how far along he can get and how fast he can do that so we’ll see”. Wilson has a remarkable 16 touchdown passes over his last four games.

Wilson was 4 for 4 for 34 yards on the drive and Thomas Rawls, the rookie who has done an impressive job in place of an injured Marshawn Lynch, had six carries for 44 yards. We’ll see where he is.
Carroll gave an update about Rawls’ condition on ESPN. “It doesn’t sound like it”, he said.
