Leeds boss Steve Evans: My message to Liverpool target Sam Byram
Sam Byram scored his third goal in as many games for Leeds as they came from behind to draw at Nottingham Forest in the Sky Bet Championship.

The point puts Steve Evans’ side up to 12th in the Championship standings, with Dougie Freedman’s Forest 13th.
The visitors steadily grew in stature and hit back with 10 minutes left as Byram struck from outside the box.
Forest came even closer at the other end when Oliver Burke’s drive into the floor rebounded off the post in the last minute, but it stayed 1-1 to leave Leeds a point and a place above Forest in 12th.
Leeds it was who settled more quickly, in terms of looking comfortable in possession, but little had been created by either side when Forest went ahead with an Oliveira goal which owed far too much to poor decision-making by both the Leeds centre-back Guiseppe Bellusci and goalkeeper, Marco Silvestri.
In fairness, however, both have found a measure of form in recent weeks, Forest having won four in a row at home and become harder to beat away, while Leeds were unbeaten in four, three of which had been won.
The Forest manager was well aware of the threat from Leeds, who were unbeaten in five games going into Sunday’s match, and commended their effort that eventually saw the spoils shared at the City Ground.
Oliveira’s left-footed shot from range flew just wide of Silvestri’s left post, before Leeds’ chance came via Wood, who could only head well over from a Charlie Taylor cross. The duo are set to lead the line once again for Forest this weekend.
The hosts continued to counter well, as O’Grady’s header from a corner needed a goal-line clearance from Luke Murphy.
Liverpool are in pole position to sign Everton target Sam Byram after he refused to extend his contract with Leeds United, Daily Star reports.
