Facebook For iOS Gets Support For Live Photos From Today
In September 2015, Live Photos feature was first introduced by Apple when it released the iPhone 6s.

Facebook is following in the footsteps of popular blogging site Tumblr, who integrated the photos just a few days ago.
Facebook began rolling out the update earlier today for its iOS app. According to Fortune, not everyone will get support for Apple’s Live Photos all at once, but some people should already have it by now.
Today, it looks like Apple AAPL and Facebook FB are joining forces: the social media company will now support the tech giant’s “Live Photos” tool that debuted with the iPhone 6s.
So how does one upload a “Live Photo?”.
Some users may find that the option to upload Live Photos to Facebook is not yet available; the key word here is “yet”. The only catch, however, is that since Live Photos are fairly new, Facebook will not be supporting this feature at once for all the users. This time around, however, the Live Photo icon will be present at the bottom right of the image indicating that it is not just another regular still image.
Moving photos are expected to come as standard in most future high-end smartphones, with Samsung’s Galaxy S7 expected to be the next high-end device to boast the necessary pressure-sensitive display. Lift your finger and the short clip will return to the default photo.
Some Facebook users will now be able to experience Live Photos, 3-second GIF exclusive to the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.

Despite an update having rolled out this morning, only some Facebook users have stated that they are able to view Live Photos.
