Broncos QB Brock Osweiler to start as Peyton Manning needs more time
Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler speaks with reporters during a news conference after an NFL football practice Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, at the team’s headquarters in Englewood, Colo.

Still with Manning out, Denver will go with the 28-year-old passer as head coach Gary Kubiak said following Wednesday’s practice according to ESPN, “We’re going with Brock; we’ll rally around him”.
Kubiak attended Manning’s throwing session Saturday but had viewed the others on video.
Manning’s health has been a major concern for the Broncos this season and after resuming limited practice last week, he had to miss all of Friday’s practice after suffering a setback physically.
Osweiler is 3-2 as a starter since taking over for Manning. That won’t be good enough to topple Cincy; they’re 7-1 against teams averaging fewer than 23 points per game.
“I’ve felt comfortable all along, but certainly the more that you play, the more you learn and the more comfortable you are”, Osweiler said this week. A large part of that is because of the teammates that I have around myself. That came after Thomas dropped his third pass of the game, on third-and-4 with 6 1/2 minutes remaining and helped the Raiders to a stunning 15-12 win. I show my emotion inside the white lines, and when I leave the field, I’m pleased with the win but I try to never get too high or too low. “I hope. The team should always be first”.

This will mark Osweiler’s sixth consecutive start, and it will be the biggest of his career. If the Denver Broncos can get their 11th win this Sunday, they are pretty much guaranteed a spot. “That’s what we’re focused on right now”. He did not play at all last week, and the Broncos are being cautious as this is an aggravation of an injury he suffered during training camp. “But so long as Osweiler remains healthy and continues to play reasonably well, it’s time to consider that Manning may have played his last down with the Broncos”. After the game, the tear was revealed.
