Marshmallow Update for Xiomi Mi 3, Mi 4 and Mi Note is now in the final stage.
The Indian Express added that the Huawei Honor 7 hit the market shelves in India on October 7 running with Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update for Xiomi Mi: Xiomi has announced that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update for its Xiomi Mi 3, Mi 4 and Mi Note will be rolled out soon.
At that time, the company had said its users not to be anxious about the Android version and they claimed that the features of the MIUI 7 would be the same on all Android devices, pointed out Gizmo China. For now it isn’t clear as to which new features Huawei will deliver to with its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The steady form of the MIUI 7 was condemned by clients as it stayed with Android 4.4 KitKat, rather than Lollipop.
The Mi3 and Mi4 have been Xiaomi’s flagship smartphones in the past, so it makes sense to be among the first to receive the update, but it’s still surprising that the Chinese company is considering Marshmallow for a 3-year-old handset, even if it’s a flagship. According to a new GizmoChina report, the Marshmallow update is in its final testing stages and will roll out soon to its Xiaomi devices. The front-facing camera has 8 megapixels. As of now the work on the beta version of Marshmallow has been completed and the team is working on developer version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update.
A spokesperson from Xiaomi revealed that Mi 4 and Mi Note will be getting the update first.
