As if that wasn’t enough, the following rides will be closing temporarily on January 11th for reasons unrelated to the Star Wars expansion (either to undergo routine refurbishment or to remove their holiday overlays): Autopia, Jungle Cruise, and Haunted Mansion. The L.A Times also noted Universal Studios Hollywood is set to launch their new Harry Potter attractions next year too, setting the stage for another great battle between sci-fi and fantasy.
He noted that attendance increased during an expansion of Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom in Florida from 2011 to 2014.
